Project Introduction
The laboratory has multiple functional areas, including amorphous material experimental area, biological experimental area, new energy experimental area, semiconductor/photovoltaic material experimental area, etc., to meet the experimental needs of different disciplines. The laboratory decoration adopts environmentally friendly and durable materials, the floor adopts anti slip and corrosion-resistant flooring, and the walls use materials that are easy to clean and resistant to chemical corrosion to ensure the safety and hygiene of the laboratory. At the same time, the laboratory is fully equipped with advanced experimental instruments and equipment, ensuring the smooth progress of experimental work. In terms of laboratory environment control, an intelligent control system is adopted to achieve precise control of the laboratory's ventilation, lighting, temperature, and other environments. In terms of laboratory safety assurance, complete fire-fighting facilities and safety signs have been set up, and regular safety training is conducted to ensure the safe operation of the laboratory. The successful completion of this project has provided a safe, comfortable, and efficient experimental environment for researchers, promoting the smooth progress of scientific research projects.

Case background
The Songshan Lake Materials Laboratory (hereinafter referred to as the "Laboratory") is located in Dongguan, an important node city in the Guangdong Hong Kong Macao Greater Bay Area. It started construction on December 22, 2017 and completed registration in April 2018. It is one of the first batch of provincial laboratories in Guangdong Province, with four core areas: cutting-edge scientific research, public technology platforms and large science facilities, innovative model factories, and the Guangdong Hong Kong Macao Cross Science Center. It explores the formation of a full chain innovation model of "cutting-edge basic research → applied basic research → industrial technology research → industrial transformation", positioning itself as an internationally influential southern base for new material research and development, an important component of national material science research, and a new window for the cross opening of Guangdong Hong Kong Macao.
